Author Bio:
Melissa Love began her love of writing since picking up her first fictional book. She wanted to turn her love of reading into writing. In 2001 and 2012 she went the self-published route and published 3 books. She knew that self-publishing wasn't the route she wanted to take anymore, so she continued on to write more manuscripts until she was able to signed with a major publishing company. Writing has become a way for her to be creative in telling compelling stories and memorable characters of lies and deceits.

Interview With Authoress Melissa:

1. What inspired you to write this book?
I got this idea from working a female institution as a correctional officer in Virginia, and once again while watching an episode of Lifetime Movie Network.

2. How did you come with the title for this book?
The title reflected the love and devotion she had for her marriage and honoring her wedding vows, and death row was the end result of her action.

3. What do you want readers to grasp from reading this book?
I want readers to know that there is help out there if they're in an abusive relationship. I also want readers to grasp just because a person is wealthy doesn't mean they could just up and leave a bad relationship. Some women gets emotionally connected to a situation and it become difficult to break especially when children are involved.

4. Will there be a part 2 or is this a stand alone book?
No, there will be no part 2, but I am working on another book.

5. Do You have a favorite character?
My favorite is Betrena, who is one of De'Nesha's best friends. I like her because she will tell it how it is, even if it means hurting feelings.

Interview With De'Nesha Cole:

1. Do You feel that you were brain wash?
Heck, no. I wouldn't called my marriage or making sure my husband was happy a brain wash.

2. Why did you take so much abuse in your marriage?
Like any other woman in a comment relationship, I believe him when he told me he would never hit ever again. I wanted our marriage to work and I didn't believe in giving up so easily.

3. How did you feel when your family and friends turned their back on you?
I was hurt, mad and angry because they knew my character as a person. They made me feel like I was the monster even though Terence clearly was.

4. You had the means to leave, so why didn't you?
I wanted my marriage to work, also my parents were so proud of me and Terence. I also didn't want to be a single mother raising two children by myself. I had an image to maintain and I didn't want everyone to know that I was in a horrible relationship.

5. How do you feel about the outcome of your revenge?
It wasn't the best for me or my children. I was on my own selfish revenge that I didn't think about my action. I do I could do it all over in the right way.
